Stop drawing pipes by hand and turn weeks of manual routing into hours of automated design.
Works directly inside Revit · Setup in minutes · Uses your native families
MEP design is stuck in the past
Engineering teams waste countless hours on manual, error-prone routing that slows down the entire project lifecycle.
Time-Consuming Manual Routing
Inevitable Clashes and Errors
Slow Design Changes and Rework
Meet Plumbing Copilot
An intelligent Revit add-in that automates the most tedious parts of your workflow, turning weeks of manual routing into hours of automated design.
Three steps to automated routing
Place Routing Elements
Define where pipes are allowed to travel by placing routing elements on walls, floors, ceilings, and other model elements. Just pick the host element and Plumbing Copilot creates and aligns the routing element for you.
Define Rules in the Panel
Set your routing rules in the control panel before running a search. You control slope, elbow style, pipe and system types, obstacles to avoid, and the boundaries the route must not cross (stay in or out).
Compare & Select Routes
Select the elements to connect to instantly start the route search. Compare the results side by side, review each option by length, fittings, clashes, and other metrics, then create your chosen route as native Revit pipes and fittings.

Full control over every route
Route Preferences
Define exact parameters for slope, minimum pipe length between fittings, obstacle clearance, and allowed elbow angles. Plumbing Copilot uses your native Revit pipe types (including all defined fittings) and system types. You can also customize end-pipe connections (tee or wye, up/down/side direction) and automatically add P-traps to sloped routes.
Obstacle Avoidance
Select model elements to route around — the algorithm automatically avoids them during the search, ensuring your generated routes are completely clash-free from the start.
Path Control
Confine routes to allowed zones or block restricted areas using filled regions. Combine this with intuitive routing elements that snap to walls, floors, or ceilings for total spatial control.

Pipeit is the company. Plumbing Copilot is the first live Pipeit product, built to automate plumbing routing workflows directly inside Autodesk Revit.
Teams typically see a 10X reduction in routing time. By automating the design process and preventing clashes before they happen, you can turn weeks of manual drafting and clash resolving into hours, reducing project cost and increasing its quality.
Plumbing Copilot is a Revit add-in that lets plumbing designers turn weeks of manual routing into hours of automated design.
Yes. Plumbing Copilot runs entirely locally within your Revit environment. Your project data and models never leave your machine unless you explicitly choose to share them with our support team.
Yes. Create an account and download the plugin to get started. You can use it for free for 30 days. After installing it, log in with your account credentials and start using all the features right away.
Plumbing Copilot is built to handle everything from small residential layouts to massive, highly complex commercial and hospital projects. It works seamlessly across all project types and sizes.
Yes. Plumbing Copilot works with your project's loaded pipe types, fittings, system types, and other Revit content to generate native elements.
Yes. The algorithm automatically detects and avoids clashing with elements in your current model and any linked models.
Yes. The generated routes are native Revit pipe elements, not proprietary objects. Once placed, you can edit, extend, or delete them with standard Revit tools.
You can connect any elements in the current model that have a pipe connector on them, such as pipes, pipe fittings, plumbing fixtures, FCUs, and other mechanical equipment.
